Inspired mainly by Gillo Pontecorvo's movie "The Battle of Algiers" this collection is a tribute to the women during the Algerian revolution. A mixture of the traditional wear and the military uniform. The choice of the fabric used was very important; lace and silk to represent the femininity contrasting with cotton twirl and metallic zippers to highlight the guerilla side of these women. The mood of these portrait is inspired by Marc Garanger's photographes of Algerian women.
